How much does a Lip Blush treatment cost?

Lip blush treatments are £250 in total which covers the initial consultation, treatment and a colour boost around 8 weeks after your initial lip blush treatment.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING PRIOR TO OR AFTER MY LIP BLUSH APPOINTMENT?

Absolutely!! Good results are highly dependent on the pre and post care undertaken by the client. It is essential that you keep lips exfoliated and moisturized in the week before your lip blush appointment to allow the colour to be implanted correctly. If you suffer from cold sores then we recommend that you take an anti-viral medication 5 days prior and 5 days after your lip blush to avoid an outbreak.

Once your lip blush is complete you will receive an aftercare leaflet so you know how to look after them properly, but keeping them as moisturised as possible will ensure a quick heal time.

DO I NEED A CONSULTATION PRIOR TO MY LIP BLUSH?

A consultation is not essential but is highly recommended. Not everyone is suitable for lip blush so we do like to see our clients first to discuss expectations and assess your lips. Consultations are FREE at Brows by Emma

WHAT IS THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN LIP BLUSH?

The appointment usually lasts around 2-3 hours depending on the client. We begin the appointment by drawing on the design where we can tweak minor imperfections as long as we stay within the lip tissue, it is not advisable to go outside of the lip tissue as over time this will heal unsightly and will not give a natural result. Once the lip blush is complete it will look a lot bolder in colour and can swell, however as the lips have a great blood supply, they are the fastest to heal of all the semi-permanent makeup areas. Within around 5 days they will settle and take around 8 weeks for the colour to fully develop. At that stage you come back for a colour boost to perfect them.

WILL MY LIP BLUSH LOOK LIKE LIPSTICK?

Lip blush is intended to be a natural enhancement. There is a vast array of colours available which can be matched to your favourite lipstick. Although lip blush gives colour like lipstick it will heal with a more sheer finish.

HOW PERMANENT IS A LIP BLUSH TREATMENT?

Lip blush usually lasts around 2 years before it will gradually fade and require a colour boost.
